GST Council Cuts Tax on 40 Items, Seven Lowered from 28% to 18% Slab

The announcement was made by Puducherry CM Narayanasamy shortly after the GST Council meeting ended. The exact list of the items that will get cheaper now will be officially revealed later on Saturday.
