RBI Cuts Repo Rate by 25 Basis Points, Projects GDP Growth at 7.2% for 2019-20

The six-member monetary policy committee (MPC) cut the repo rate to 6.00 percent. The reverse repo rate was reduced to 5.75 percent. The central bank projected GDP growth for 2019-20 at 7.2 per cent.
