HSBC To Accelerate Restructuring Plan As Third-quarter Profit Tumbles 35%

HSBC Holdings PLC said on Tuesday it plans to accelerate its restructuring plan, slashing costs further than previously suggested, flipping its model from generating income mainly from interest rates to feebased business, and shrinking in size.
